Crown Harbor Homes in Cornelius, NC

Crown Harbor is a lovely, laid-back and family-friendly neighborhood situated in the town of Cornelius, NC.   The town of Cornelius maintains its “small town feel” while being just 18 miles north of Charlotte.  A boater’s paradise, Lake Norman laps at the beautiful shoreline properties of many homes in Crown Harbor and it provides recreation and water sports during the warm months that generally last from March all the way to October. 

The lake hosts many nationally known events such as numerous Bass Pro fishing competitions. Also known as exit 28 right off of I-77, we are conveniently located about 30 minutes from both Charlotte-Douglas International airport and the Amtrak station.  When asked what people like the most about living in this area, besides Lake Norman itself, many might refer to the warm climate with mild winters.  Others might suggest being less than two or three hours away from the gorgeous mountains and spectacular beaches. Certainly the parents in the community would boast about the caliber of schools in the area, both public and private.  They offer students a great education.  In Cornelius you could tour the Michael Waltrip race shop or perhaps you might like to visit the studio of world-renowned sculptor Jon Hair?  Rent a boat for the day or picnic at Waterfront Park in Jetton Park.
